Monday Memories #4

This single page layout is one I put together of photos from my last day at college. It was May and there was a heatwave that week, so we spent the whole day outside and after our lessons, we all went to the pub. I have such good memories of that day, and I wanted the idea of happiness to be in the layout, so I used all my favourite colours.

As usual you can see that I used the white glittery chipboard thickers, but I ran out of the letter O so I used two big buttons that matched the colour scheme. I kept it really simple and only backed my favourite photos in rainbow stripy paper, and added a few pieces of handmade pink paper for a bit of texture.

I hope you like it, it's one of my favourite pages to look back on.

Monday Memories #3

Hello! This week's layout is of a trip to Bournemouth beach with my friends last summer, if you follow my blog you know that it's been snowing a lot here lately, and I could really do with some sunshine!
The background papers are green cardstock and blue polka dot cardstock from Bazzil Basics, and you can see that yet again I used the white sparkly alphabet stickers. I also used some polka dot stickers from a Forever Friends scrapbooking set to spell out 'bournemouth' on the picture in the last photo, as I felt it looked a little bare.
As usual, there isn't much embellishment, just a few buttons and pearls here and there. I did use a postcard from Paperchase in this layout though, I thought the words were quite fitting!

Hope you're having a lovely day.

Snow Days

Snow is probably one of my favourite things, and it's snowing so heavily here today! My flatmates and I have already been out in it, and there are people sledding and building snow unicorns all over campus... yes, I did say snow unicorns.

Hope you're having a beautiful snow day!

Home Sweet Home (Uni Room Tour!)

I LOVE my university bedroom. I actually think I prefer it to my bedroom at home. In these photos you can see random little details like the enormous amount of owls I have dotted around my room, my printer and kettle corner, my essay writing set up, my makeup corner and my bedside table.

I'm lucky enough to have my own bathroom attached to my bedroom as well, but I always think it's a little odd to look in someone's bathroom! I hope you liked having a little look around, if you've got any questions or want to know where something is from, don't hesitate to ask me :)

(Very Late!) Monday Memories #2

Sorry it took so long for me to put this post up, I moved back to university on Monday night and don't seem to have stopped since! This layout is a few random photos of me and family that didn't seem to fit anywhere else, so I gave them their own page. I love the pictures of my little cousin, and the landscape photo is of myself, my two younger brothers, and our two "cousins" who are more like sisters, they're family friends we've known our whole lives.

The background paper is a green spotted one from Bazzil Basics, and as you can see I used the same glittery thickers as last week's layout to spell out the title. There's very little else on this page apart from a few buttons, which you'll see a lot. I like to keep things simple.

I hope you enjoyed, and stay tuned because my post tomorrow is going to be a uni room tour!

What's in My Bag?

I'm convinced that you can get to know someone through having a nosy in their handbag, and seeing as I got a new bag for Christmas, (along with some new blog followers!), I'd do a what's in my bag post.
This bag was one of my favourite Christmas presents, and it's a Cath Kidston day bag I believe. I would link it for you, but I can't find it on the website :( It looks quite small, but you can fit quite a lot into it, and I think it'll be especially good when I'm back at university, and don't have to carry a lot to lectures.
As you can see, I really do own more Cath Kidston than is socially acceptable.
SO, we have a bottle of water, my iPhone 4, my iPad 2, a pen, a random tissue (I saw Les Miserables last night and I cried the whole way through, that's why the tissue is in there!), my notebook/diary, a Wilkinsons receipt, my glasses, my purse, a very old Claire's mirror, pink rose vaseline, my earphones, olbas oil (horrible cold at the moment!), vanilla body spray and my keys. Normally I also carry my car keys but my mum is borrowing my car at the moment, and my digital camera is normally there too, but I used it to take these photos!
Also, can I just point out how adorable my earphones are?! They were in the Accessorize sale, so I'm not sure if they're still available.
So I hope that was vaguely interesting, and you can now truly understand my Cath Kidston addiction! (I'm ashamed to admit that the stuff in this handbag is only a tiny portion of my true collection... oops).
If you've done a what's in my bag video or post, feel free to link it in the comments!
